How to boil LIVE Dungeness crabs 

- Large Pot
- Water;
- Sea salt;
- LIVE crabs from Providence Seafoods Inc.
Cooking time for LIVE crabs:
- 1.5 - 2.00 lbs: 15 min
- 2.00 - 2.5 lbs: 20 min
The crabs should turn a bright red or orange colour when done.
- Pour enough water in the pot to cover the crabs completely;
- Add 2 tablespoons of sea salt for every 2 l of water;
- Bring water to a boil;
- Gasp the crabs by the back legs and drop them headfirst into the boiling water;
- Cover the pot with lid and watch time;
- Once cooked, drain water, serve crabs immediately and serve them hot;
